Rajagiri Viswajyothi College of Arts and Applied Sciences (RVCAS) is a forward‑looking institution of excellence, established in 2014 under the Viswajyothi Educational and Charitable Trust of Sacred Heart Province, Kochi. The missionaries dedicated themselves to education at all levels. At present, their mission of education comprises a vast network of over 448 institutions spread all over India and beyond.The Sacred Heart Province at Kalamassery is one among the thirteen provinces of the CMIs and has a number of reputed educational institutions to its credit and they all come under the banner of Rajagiri Vidyapeetham (established in 2001). Rajagiri Vidyapeetham is envisaged as a wide network of institutions and centers providing quality education from the pre-primary level to doctoral recognition through specialized and super-specialized study, and seeking alternatives to the conventional mainstream efforts.
Rajagiri Viswajyothi College of Arts and Applied Sciences (RVCAS) is the youngest of the educational institutions that comes under Rajagiri Vidyapeetham. The college is affiliated to MG University and currently provides courses in Undergraduate level. RVCAS aims to uphold the CMI vision of holistic education to brain, mind, heart and soul of the individual by up keeping the inspiration to create citizens who have value to the society and humanity.
Today, RVCAS has emerged as a renowned undergraduate hub, offering 7 New Generation Programmes across five disciplines. With 81 Extension & Outreach initiatives, 22 Awards & Recognitions, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and participation in NIRF and KIRF rankings, the college continues to set benchmarks in higher education. Ranked NAAC B++ Grade in its first cycle and recognized as a Government of Kerala A+ Grade Green Institution, RVCAS blends academic distinction with sustainability, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth — empowering students to lead with knowledge, values, and innovation.

From the inception of the Rajagiri Viswajyothi College of Arts & Applied Sciences, the management is actively planning to collaborate with foreign universities for student and faculty exchange programmes. The College is in its way to associate with the professional educational and management bodies and chapters around. This association will give opportunities for the students to interact with the high end professionals and experts in industry and trade.

The Rajagiri Viswajyothi campus is located at Vengoor on the way to Munnar from Perumbavoor. The location of the campus is amidst of the major tourist destinations in the Ernakulam and Idukki districts of Kerala.
