About Library

According to the former Indian President Dr. Abdul Kalam “Great Books Born out of Great Minds” and we at Rajagiri Viswajyothi believe that “Great Books Create Great Minds”. In the campus we have a full fledged library with books of different categories so as to inspire the thoughts of the learning community.

The Rajagiri Viswajyothi College Library stands as a cornerstone of academic support, offering a wealth of resources and services to enrich the learning and research experiences of its community. We provide extensive e-resources, including a diverse array of e-books, online journals, and databases that cater to the evolving needs of students and faculty alike. In alignment with global educational trends, the library actively promotes Open Educational Resources (OER), ensuring cost-effective access to high-quality learning materials. Through initiatives supporting OER adoption and creation, the library empowers educators and learners to engage deeply with curriculum materials that are freely accessible and customizable. Moreover, the library serves as a hub for academic collaboration and intellectual exploration, hosting workshops, seminars, and exhibitions that stimulate scholarly discourse and creativity. By integrating these elements into its framework, Rajagiri Viswajyothi College Library continues to uphold its role as a dynamic resource center dedicated to nurturing knowledge, critical thinking, and academic excellence within the campus community.

College is well connected with Wi-fi and the library is fully automated with koha library software. Online web OPAC system is used for the searching of library resources.
