Maria Mathews is a faculty member in the Department of English currently pursuing a doctoral research scholarship at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at premier government-aided and private colleges in Kerala. She holds an MPhil degree in English from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and BA and MA degrees from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Her research interests principally lie in Vulnerability Studies and her research articles have appeared in national and international journals.
